Synopsis: Hari (Jagapati Babu) and Lakshmi (Priyamani) have an arranged marriage. Hari’s friend (Krishna Bhagawan) tells him that he should not listen to his wife. Lakshmi’s friend (Jhansi) tells her that if she listens to her husband, she would remain a slave to him for the rest of her life. Hari and Lakshmi starting living together but soon they grow apart as each of them listens to the advice of their individual friends. At the same time, they are forced to visit their grandparents (Kota and Geetanjali) to perform some family rituals. The rest of the story is all about how they learn about love and married life from their grandparents.

This block buster is a Romantic Family Love Story from Jagapathi Babu after giving a blockbuster "Samanyudu". The story basically is simple focusing on how marriages are wrecked because of inflated egos of the partners and how care and understanding helps to heal the cracks. The director has ensured that a serious storyline is combined with entertainment to avoid being preachy.

The screenplay-expert Srinu Vytla completes the hattrick with the latest success of "King" after "Ready" and "Dhee". "KING" is Srinu Vytla's show, stands to be unique and a wholesome family entertainer.

Nagarjuna donned three roles of different dimensions. Nagarjuna's magnitude is seen fully on silver screen. His grace pulled the attention of entire audiences. Brahmanandam donned the role of a music director and he once again tickled the audiences. The shot in which he poses as a guitarist for Srihari's painting is hilarious. Sunil's role is nice as the guy whose identity is stolen by the hero.

The movie takes different twists and turns but no where strains the audiences. A laugh is promised at every 10 minutes on an average. Even the songs made the audiences sit in theaters by the blend of their right music and interesting choreography as well as costumes. First half runs with ample humor while second half too does the same with added comedy.

King (Nagarjuna) belongs to the royal dynasty of Coimbatore. He has a doting mother (Geetha) and a loving brother (Deepak). He has three brother-in-laws who are after the blood of the king in order to get a share in their property. In this scenario, King gets killed when he visits Dehradoon for a project work.

Bottu Seenu (Nagarjuna) is a local mafia man in twin cities who does settlements. Gnaneswar (Srihari) is an innocent don of the city. Bottu Seenu falls in love with an aspiring singer Sravani (Trisha). But Sravani is of a soft type and she likes soft guys. Hence Bottu Seenu takes the avatar of a software engineer to impress her. The rest of the story is all about whether King is killed or not.

Trisha is with full of elegance and the credit should be given to costume designer and cinematographer. She hasn't exposed anything big but touched the senses of audiences.

Mamata Mohandas looked voluptuous and witch-like as per the demand of the role. She once again proved her mettle as complete artiste with own voice for dubbing.

Outline:
